INDI-TABS Chemical Indicator Tablets and Kits
INDI-TABS provide a simple and economical way to add indicators to your titration flask. Each tablet contains 0.01 gram of active ingredient mixed with a binder of sodium chloride, potassium nitrate, or potassium chloride. Simply add one or more INDI-TABS to your solution, eliminating time-consuming weighing and clean-up. One INDI-TAB usually is sufficient for each 100 ml of solution. The tablets dissolve rapidly, but the process can be accelerated by crushing the tablet with a stirring rod.
INDI-TAB Kits provide the convenience of immediate availability of a series of different indicators; each kit provides 100 tablets of each of the twelve different indicators. Thus there is no need to purchase expensive bulk lots of indicators to have on hand for those few times they may be needed. However, for those researchers who use a particular indicator frequently, Thorn Smith supplies each INDI-TAB in bulk containers of 1,000 tablets.
